How to Create a Hive Wallet​

Creating a Hive Wallet (Browser)

Follow these steps to create your Hive wallet.

Step 1: Install Hive Keychain​

  • Install the Hive Keychain browser extension.
  • Once installed, reload the page to activate the extension.

Step 2: Visit Ecency Signup​

  • Go to Website Ecency Signup to create your new account.
  • Choose your username and enter your email address.

Step 3: Download Your Backup​

  • Click "Download Backup" to save your account info.
  • This information will also be sent to your email.

Important:
Store this backup in a safe place. It’s your only way to recover your account.

Step 4: Save Your Credentials​

  • Enter your username and password in the Hive Keychain browser extension.
  • This will securely save your credentials for easy access.
